Well what do you know

Life is no different for me as it is for you. So when I couldn't sleep this morning I decided to organize my phone.  To make my data plan worth the tax deduction and my husband shaking his head every time we get the cell phone bill, I though I would see if there was apps that would be handy.  Well look what I found amongst other things I can now blog from my phone!  Don't worry I don't plan on filling the cloud with a lot of rambling (other than today :)) but I think it will be fun when we are on the road to show you all what we have been up to.

I might just get all this technology figured out before I need a new phone and have to start all over!

Time to get ready for church, you all have a great day!

It's your turn

I was looking at the counter for this blog and low and behold, there are a few of you that are reading it!  I want to say thank you and as I learn how to do this your patience is much appreciated.

I would like some feedback, do you want more 'Adventures at TSI' articles, more about the hard core 'What we are working on' or finally 'Adventures in the Miller home'?  Trust me the others will still creep in occasionally but I want this to be something that you all enjoy.  I have my personal preference but I will see what you all say.

This weekend we are going to be set up at the Iowa State 4-H Horse Jamboree, on Campus at Iowa State University.  Please stop by and check us out.

Balance

Balance is something that I have been struggling with for quite a while it had been because there was not enough work.  Now this is finally starting to be enough work, which is a great thing and a neccesity, so I have to figure out how to make this work with the family.  I am sure that all working moms have the same struggles.  Mine is a challenge because I don't always work traditional hours.  So, when I am gone for weekends why do I feel quilty?  Todd is a great dad and very capible of taking care of things at home.  I'm also pretty sure that when he has had to work weekends and nights he doesn't carry this guilt with him.  Okay enough whinning! I know I will figure it out, or not but life will go on and I will just keep doing the best that I can.

I did have some fun the other day and played with some flip-flops.  We are getting ready for a Vendor Event this weekend and I will give you all the details in the morning!  Have a great day!

Splash

My wonderful and talented friend and cohort lost her best friend Splash yesterday.  He was an AWESOME horse who could do anything.  I am not exaggerating here.  He came out of one of the Broken Z stock and he did timed events, cowboy challenge, western, english, drove and boy did he LOVE cows!  She did all the training on him.  He was also funny, we would all laugh when ever we were somewhere that Niome was working another horse, he would stare at them and pout.  He was a mama's boy in the best way.

So, Royal Splash of Robin, you have fun chasing those cows in heaven, we are all going to miss you down here. <3

Short but Sweet

I try to learn something everyday.  Today I learned that I can not take my sleep medications after 10:00 at night and expect to get up in the morning.  But I am up and feel great!  Yesterday was a day full of erands for the family and a Fairboard Meeting last night.  It was our anual meeting, and for the most part I am really looking forward to the Story County Youth Fair.  I will be ebroidering polo shirts for the board and we will be pre-selling some in the Fair Office.

Anyway, I also got a few pendants poured before I left.  I am really like doing the resin frames, I feel that they are sturdier than the glass pendants and I can do fun stuff like the round one and put the metal intials in them.  And hey if I am going to expierement I might as well get something fun out of the deal, right?

Niome made some cross saddle charms too, I love the pink and black! :)

I will not become a hoader...

I have come to the realization that I could be a hoarder, seriously I could.  Especially with things to do with Total Show Image.  I get supplies to make several of something, could be pendants, rings, bags, you name it.  I make one or two and then save the rest to make more later or for a custom project.  NO MORE!!!!  We worked last night and I actually have some pendants drying waiting for resin and Niome's made some saddle charms, or really whatever someone else wants them to be.

I also worked on a daily to do list, if you haven't noticed I tend to be a lot scatterbrained so I am hoping that this will help me keep focused and working!

Ouch my arms

I told you all all a couple of days ago that Todd got me a wii Active trainer for Valentines.  Yesterday was upper body and today...oh my.  I am hoping that every 'day after' gets a little less painful.  I do know that it is all forward movement and pretty soon it will be good endorphins, yada, yada, yada.  For now hot showers and Aleve are my friends.  I have also discovered that even if we won the lottery I would not be able to have a personal trainer, because no one would put up with me swearing at them like that :).

I got to go to school yesterday and talk about Emily's senior year and what we need to start looking at colleges for, yikes I don't think I am ready for this, but she is.  We found out that she will start college as either a freshman about 3 credits short or a sophomore.  I am really proud of her but I can't believe we are already here.  We are so proud of her!

So I admit, it was a cloudy windy day on the prairie yesterday, and it was my Birthday soooo I did take a little nap.  Between that and school I wasn't as productive as I thought I would be, so I will need to make up for it today.  I did get Anne Hildreth's softshell done.  If you need an Equine Chiropractor I highly recommend her.  Emily would have had to pull out of showing at the State Fair, Beau was lame, she spend about 10 minutes with him and he did this about 30 minutes later...well I was going to insert a really awesome picture, but it's copy write protected.  Go to www.cowboycalendar.com, photo gallery, State Fair, 4-H Western Horsemanship 10 and it is picture 27 of 68.  Definitely NOT a lame horse.  I should probably order that picture huh? Hey Niome, feel free to share that picture with your student that say he won't do anything ;).

I am off to get ready for another crazy day, getting JuJu Belle put together for the photo shoot and I WILL get to strechy rings today!!!!
